Community
Guidelines

A safer space for genuine expression, respectful conversation, and meaningful connection.

Effective July 13, 2026

Welcome to Nodia

Nodia is a community for sharing interests, everyday moments, ideas, and meaningful connections. Be real, be considerate, and leave room for other people to set their own boundaries.

01

1. Share authentically

Share content that is your own or that you have the right to share. Be clear when content is sponsored, commercial, edited in a materially misleading way, or generated with AI where disclosure is required by applicable law. Do not impersonate another person, organization, or Nodia account. Do not use misleading names, profile photos, claims, or verification signals to deceive others.

02

2. Keep the community safe and respectful

Do not post, send, request, or promote threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, hate speech, targeted humiliation, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, content involving minors, self-harm, violence, dangerous or illegal activity, scams, fraud, phishing, spam, fake giveaways, doxxing, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Do not repeatedly contact someone after they have ignored, declined, blocked, or asked you to stop.

03

3. Create and interact responsibly

Nodia supports photos, media, text, comments, likes, saves, follows, and direct messages. Use them to contribute—not to manipulate or overwhelm others. Do not artificially inflate engagement through coordinated spam, automated activity, repetitive comments, misleading tags, or paid or fake interactions. Do not pressure someone through comments or direct messages to move to another platform, share personal details, meet in person, or purchase something.

04

4. Respect privacy and personal boundaries

Ask before sharing another person’s image, identity, private conversation, personal story, or location. Never publish another person’s sensitive personal information without clear permission. Respect message limits, visibility choices, and blocks. Do not attempt to bypass another member’s decision through another account or channel.

05

5. Status expressions and Ring social features

Nodia may allow members to voluntarily share simple status expressions, such as ‘Open to a slow chat’ or ‘Looking for a walk.’ These expressions are optional and are not health, psychological, or personality assessments. Status sharing is off by default. Do not pressure anyone to reveal a status, health information, wearable data, or other sensitive information. Do not treat a status as consent to contact, flirt, meet, or continue a conversation. Do not screenshot, repost, infer, or publicly speculate about another member’s private status settings or data. Do not use status expressions to diagnose, shame, rank, discriminate against, or target other people. Ring-related features must remain opt-in, controllable, and respectful of the recipient’s boundaries.

06

6. Matching and time-limited chats

Matching is an invitation, not an entitlement. A match, a shared interest, or a similar status never means another person owes you a reply, a conversation, personal information, or an in-person meeting. Keep time-limited chats respectful and appropriate. Do not request sensitive information, financial information, intimate images, or precise location details. Accept ‘no,’ silence, an exit, a block, or a report immediately. Nodia may limit invitations, chats, or matching access to protect members and prevent abuse.

07

7. Safety outside the app

Nodia does not arrange, verify, or guarantee in-person meetings. If you choose to meet someone you first encountered on Nodia, make your own safety decisions: meet in a public place, tell someone you trust, keep control of your transportation, and leave if anything feels wrong. Never use Nodia to follow someone, identify where they live, obtain their real-time location, or pressure them to meet.

08

8. Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

If you see content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, please report it. You can also block members to stop future contact. We may remove content, limit distribution, restrict features, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently remove accounts that violate these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law. Do not misuse reporting tools to retaliate, harass, or silence people simply because you disagree with them.

09

9. Updates to these Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines as Nodia evolves. When material changes affect how you use the community or how we handle your information, we will provide notice through the app or by other appropriate means.

Our shared responsibility

Connection should always feel voluntary.

Use the available report and block tools whenever something crosses a line. Your boundaries matter, whether you are sharing, responding, matching, or simply browsing.

Thank you for helping make Nodia a place for genuine expression, respectful conversation, and safer connection.
